Android tablet users: There is not an Android tablet version of the evertouch App available yet. It is in our plans and we hope to release it soon.

iPad users: The evertouch App works on iPad, but may be a bit more difficult for you to find in the App Store. Please use the following tips locate the evertouch App for download on your iPad.

evertouch® does not upload and store contact information from the native address book on your device(s) on the evertouch systems or databases.

The only data stored on the evertouch system are your personal contact details and technical account management data, such as login credentials, evertouch contact links, etc.

The use of any of your data by evertouch is solely to assist you in better managing your contacts. That’s all.

Information from the native address book on your device displayed in Main Menu –> Contacts –> [device type] Contacts may be used by evertouch to assist you in identifying who of your existing contacts you may wish to connect with on evertouch. Limited parts of that information (e.g. contact name) are securely transmitted between your device and evertouch for search and comparison. It is processed in a completely secure environment and is never retained or stored on the evertouch systems.

All of your personal information is subject to the Terms of Service and is managed according to our Privacy Policy and Security Statement.

evertouch® accesses the address book (contacts) database on your device to help you better manage your contacts.

By accessing the contacts database, evertouch can present your contacts to you in an enhanced format.

For example, evertouch shows the ‘Invite to evertouch’ button on each contact record, which allows you to easily send eMail or SMS  invitations to individuals to join evertouch and connect with you.

evertouch does not alter any existing records in your address book.

A bit more detail if you’re interested…

  • See the FAQ “Does the address book on my phone get uploaded to the Cloud?” for more information.
  • While not there yet, evertouch is building to become a standalone, full function address book for your device.
  • Currently iOS and Android closely tie the user to their native address book and contacts database. In the not to distant future, Apple and Android will become more ‘open’ and allow you to remove their address book application and adopt an address book App of your choice. It’s our hope that evertouch will be the address book App of choice for you.
  • Your device has a ‘contacts database’ which is used by the address book App, as well as other Apps such as Mail, Messages and Phone to assist you in communicating with your contacts. In requesting access to your contacts, evertouch is accessing that same database and giving you a different view of that data, as well as allowing you the same one tap connectivity to make calls, start messages, etc.

Everyone you add as an evertouch® contact must first be a registered evertouch user themselves.

Watch the following brief video on adding new evertouch contacts or use the following instructions:

To add a contact who is already a registered evertouch user:

  1. Open the evertouch App of your choice (iOS, Android or WebApp)
  2. From Main Menu –> Add Contacts, search to find the person you want to add.
  3. If the person you are looking for does not appear in the listed search results:
    • modify or refine your search criteria and try again OR
    • since the person may not yet be a registered evertouch user, see the instructional video [Link to be added] or FAQs on How to Invite People to evertouch.
  4. If the person you are searching for does appear in the search results:
    • Send them an evertouch contact request by tapping the + symbol next to their name.
    • Select the Pool you want to add them to.

Your contact will receive a Contact Request notification on their evertouch App as well as an email notification.

When your new contact accepts your Contact Request, they will add you to one of their Pools. That will complete the Contact Add process and you will be immediately ‘connected.’ They will now appear in your evertouch Contacts list and the address book on your device.

Unfortunately, someone may also decline your Contact Request! 😉 You will not be notified of that decline, but the contact will not appear in your evertouch Contacts list.

No, you cannot add a contact to more than one Pool.

The main purpose of the Pool is to control what information you share with your contacts. Adding them to one Pool gives you that control.

New features and functions under consideration may allow a contact to appear in more than one Pool. Subject to user feedback and overall product plans, we will notify users of the details and implications when those features are added to evertouch®.

No in this release of evertouch® you cannot add, delete or rename Pools.

Using Main Menu –> Settings –> Pool Settings you can set which fields from your personal Contact Details you want to share with the contacts you place in each Pool.

In this first release of evertouch® we have restricted the system to four pre-defined Pools (Family, Friends, Work and Other).

Subject to user feedback, a future release of evertouch® will allow users to add, delete and rename Pools.

No. Your contacts never see which Pool you have placed them in.

They only see whatever information you decided to share with them from your personal Contact Details based on the configuration of the Pool you placed them in.
